This morning my husband has his first physics midterm. I just sent him out the door, and told him not to get eaten by the garbage truck. It is cold this morning. My toes are suffering in fact, and I could see my breath as I watched Nat walk down our alley. My babes is so smart. I should have put a hat on his head.
I was a good wife and made him breakfast. Blueberry smoothies and some hot cereal. We purchased a $12.00 blender at Wal-mart a few days ago, and I have been using it every day since. I look all over the fridge and freezer to see what I can blend up. I made some apple/carrot/celery juice yesterday morning. It was impressive. I even used a sieve. My little blender is my friend.
Last night husband and I watched the debate. Neither of us knows what the heck is going on, and we aren't very political, so I don't have a lot to say about it. I do like watching the debates though. It is a curious thing how much bashing each other is going on. So many digs. I thought the comment about women in binders was pretty funny though.
This cold morning calls for the heater to be run. I dread running the heater. I always think it is going to make our electric bill shoot out the roof. So I've been trying to wrap myself in comforters and warm blankets instead. I would like to get a really fuzzy warm throw. That would be nice. I also need to buy some nails for the wall, but that doesn't really have anything to do with throws. This morning calls for the heater to be run.
Well, I am going to drink some hot water now, and read some Ecclesiastes.
